The Mechanics of Light was born from a challenge, the idea that a woman could pay tribute to the beauty of a car with the same intensity as a man.
The provocation amused me, and I chose to take it on, not in opposition, but out of curiosity, passion, and a sense of play.

I offered my own vision of these “beautiful machines”: a vision of curves and reflections, of texture and vibration.
The grace and feline allure of car bodies carry, to me, a deeply feminine sensuality.
Their surfaces capture light like skin; their lines vibrate; speed itself becomes choreography.

This series is as much an act of admiration as it is a shift in perspective.
To enter this traditionally masculine territory was not an act of provocation, but of freedom, a way to affirm that there are countless ways to speak of power, desire, and motion.

In The Mechanics of Light, performance turns to contemplation, and mechanics become emotion.
Perhaps, in the end, meeting the challenge was simply about this:
proving that beauty, whether it moves or accelerates, speaks one universal language: that of light.
